Al's Deep Dish: Why the 20 Minute Wait Is Worth It
Al's deep dish pizza takes about 20 minutes to cook, and comes loaded with over 2 pounds of cheese. Here's what you need to know before you order.

What Makes It Deep Dish
Al's deep dish pizza isn't a quick bake. Allow about 20 minutes for the cook time, and you'll get a 12 inch pizza with over 2 pounds of cheese, topped off with sauce and your favorite toppings.
If you're in New Brighton and craving something heartier than a regular round, this is the one to order. Just plan for that 20 minute cook time when you're deciding when to call or order ahead.
Two Sizes on the Menu
- 12 inch Deep Dish: $19. The full size, with over 2 pounds of cheese and your choice of toppings. Toppings are $1.50, meats are $3.
- 7 inch Small Deep Dish: $9. A personal size, same deep dish style, just built for one.
One thing to know on either size: no half toppings on the deep dish. Whatever you pick goes on the whole pie.
How to Order
Deep dish is on the regular menu, so you can order it online for pickup or delivery, or call the shop directly.
Al's is open Tuesday to Friday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Saturday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Closed Sunday and Monday.
